Aldridge Architecture Office is a practice interested in developing spaces that elevate our daily routines into meaningful experiences. Our process is defined by a critical analysis of context and a collaborative engagement with the client and their consultants to identify and solve issues of an empirical nature.

Joel Aldridge is a Native Austinite who grew up in Hyde Park. He studied fine art at UT, receiving a BFA in 2003. After participating in the Austin art world he departed for Taos, New Mexico then landed in Chicago working in high-end trim carpentry.

An epiphany led him to pursue a Master’s degree in Arizona which he received in 2012. Since then he has been working in the field of architecture, most notably with Tim Cuppett Architects. When he is not leading his architecture practice he is outside in the yard with his daughter, Alma Pearl, and faithful dog, Tex.
